I’m sure you’ve tried one – they’re everywhere & there is so much hype surrounding
them! Tangy, tart & refreshing – the rise of the sour beer is trending right now & at
The Brickworks Public House, we are all about it! We are currently featuring the Fruit Snack Sour from Coast Mountain & pouring the Venture Blueberry Sour from Mariner
Brewing. They have very different profiles but each pack a flavourful punch!
Did you know that science says that the ions of acidic foods can penetrate the walls of
our tastebuds, triggering an electrical response, exchanging free radicals, like our skin
in the open ocean. Crazy, I know! It’s no wonder why everyone is loving these acidic
sour brews. Does all of this flavour in a single pour leave you wondering what pairs well
with a sour beer? Try our Clams & Mussels, Seared Rockfish or Porkbelly & Seafood
Duo! Seafood was made for sours. They are also excellent brunch beers. They pair
famously with our cod croquettes, (topped with Nam Jim & served with hollandaise) –
trust us when we say your taste buds will thank you.
We are open 7 days a week for Brunch, Lunch & Dinner.
Our kitchen stays open to serve you until midnight. Live local musicians rock the vibe on
Tuesday & Thursday nights.
